Insight Catastrophe Group (ICG)
is seeking a collaborative, thoughtful and driven Corporate Strategy Analyst. ICG has grown more than 30% each year for the past five years. The Analyst will join a Corporate Strategy team dedicated to continuing that rapid growth, through orchestration of strategic planning efforts and initiatives driven by the company s senior leadership.

What you ll be doing:

  • Strategy Development
    • Supporting the development and updating of multi-year strategic plans for the company and targeted departments
    • Facilitating the annual operating plan process across the company
    • Conducting research, including landscape analysis, and providing insights to help with construction of plans
    • Creating communications, best practices, and training materials to educate employees and strengthen strategic efforts throughout the company
  • Strategy Implementation
    • Tracking progress of the portfolio of cross-functional initiatives emerging from strategic planning and assisting with project planning as necessary to ensure successful delivery
    • Reporting on the success of strategic efforts vs. targeted outcomes
  • Leadership Group Coordination (e. g. Board and senior executive teams)
    • Supporting creation of meeting agendas and orchestrating associated logistics
    • Preparing reports, packages and presentations for meetings, gathering and synthesizing information from across the company
    • Recording meeting notes and following-up on action items

We re looking for someone who has:

  • Robust organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Outstanding communication skills and the ability to create compelling presentations
  • Comfort building and leveraging internal relationships across an organization to achieve objectives
  • Adept problem-solving and negotiation skills

Qualified candidates have:

  • A bachelor s degree
  • 1-2 years of project management or analytical experience, ideally through management consulting or a corporate strategy department
  • Proficiency in MS Excel and PowerPoint as well as project, business process, and knowledge management software

Highly preferred candidates also have:

  • Experience within the property and casualty insurance industry
