If you've got technical chops, consulting skills and are a passionate data engineer, please read on Responsibilities Develop and maintain GOSU language application code within Guidewire Claims Center and Guidewire Policy Center Application Responsible developing extracts from Guidewire Claim Center Policy center into data warehouses, analytics data stores for reporting and BI solutions Work closely with Business Analysts and ETL Team for performing proof of concept(POC) of new data ingestion and transformation tools for recommending new tools and technologies for internal and external stakeholders Responsible for integration of data from data warehouse and big data platform into Data Lake or Modern Data Platform from Guidewire Application and DataHub Maintenance of meta data, data policies and business data definition and publish them for internal and external stakeholders Development of advance analytics platform by transforming and connecting data assets of the organization into meaningful insights for business Design and deliver high-quality analytics data management solutions Implement data transformation and integration rules based on industrial best practice and help developing corporate strategy in those practice Work closely with Data Modeler and DBA team for implementing data validations and data quality standards in to the data warehouse Document data sources on client projects and perform gap analysis to identify inflow of bad data into data warehouse and develop data quality recommendations and solutions Responsible for assessing data quality gaps for PC Insurance clients and develop industry best practices and solutions for business problems for internal and external stakeholders Requirements 5 years of experience in Guidewire Claim Center Guidewire Policy Center. 2 years of experience in Guidewire 8.0 or higher version Hands on experience in developing GOSU Programming for integration with Guidewire Experience with Weblogic, WebSphere or similar Application Server Experience with XML technologies (XSD, Xpath, Xquery, XSL, and XSLT) Experience executing in Agile life cycle Strong SQL is a must and previous experience in any of the database preferably SQL Server Knowledge andor experience in the PC industry is highly desired along with at least one functional area relevant to these clients new business, agency, policy system, actuarial, claims and loss, Stat plan reporting Thorough understanding of data warehouse architectures and data models for PC insurance company Good team player Strong project management skills and attention to detail Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal Web Services experience SOA a benefit Certification in Guidewire 10.x application is preferable
