Momentum is looking for anCloud (AWS) Data Integration Developer with 10+ years of experience.

Looking for a Cloud Engineer who will be part of a developers team and will help to design and build Web Apps and interfaces using AWS cloud platform of services. Serve as the technical resource in development teams efforts to determine the needs of the business that will simplify and automate the applications, as well as make them more efficient.

The Expertise We Are Looking For

  • At least 7 years of software development experience.
  • At least 5 years Java development experience with JDBC, JMS, JSP, JAF, Servlets, AJAX, REST, Java design patterns and use of Eclipse, Git/Bitbucket, Maven and Junit.
  • Expertise building solutions in REACT, Java script, HTML 5.
  • At least 3 years of experience developing and implementing REST-SOAP Web Services and user interfaces using the following AWS services:
  • AWS API Gateway
  • AWS Lambda Functions
  • AWS Step Functions
  • AWS EC2 and S3
  • AWS Elastic Load Balancing
  • AWS ElastiCache
  • AWS serverless
  • Route 53
  • Deep knowledge of SOA & Micro services, REST Services Development.

    Skills: The Cloud Engineer/Developer will be working as part of a core team, building the landscape of applications (aka backend). This will involve working on integration of applications end-to-end between existing and new cloud applications.

    Review requirements, specifications and technical design documents to provide timely and meaningful feedback.

    Work with Business Analyst in Confluence to document Technical Specs from Functional Specs.

    Work with other developers and QA test team in Jira to plan, monitor and administer pending work.

    Develop integrations / interfaces between Cloud systems using AWS Tools.

    Minor Web development may be required.

    Able to communicate/negotiate with others on efforts and participate in development/change as needed.

    Continuous monitoring and analyzing potential impacts to requirements and technical scope Leadership skills to participate in meetings; Critical thinking skills to foster dialogue and analysis from Business Analysts and SMEs (subject matter experts).

    Seek and build trusted relationships, consistently seek ways to enhance delivery and identify risks, to better understand and work through issues and take timely action.

    Identify need for improvement or new skills within team and project

    Ability to assess effort needs and complete integration development deliverables.

    Expected Travel: Up to 10% of the time to Orlando, FL.

  • Experience with AWS (Amazon Web Services) tools
  • Amazon AWS Certified Solutions Architect certification.
  • Amazon AWS Certified Developer certification.
  • Amazon AWS Certified SysOp Administrator certification.
  • Amazon AWS DevOps certification.
  • Experience with Iterative or Agile development methodology preferred.
  • Strong troubleshooting skills, with the ability to work in a high-pressure team environment, handle multiple tasks and react quickly to problems and issues.
  • Keen interest in understanding and solving problems and readiness to apply new technologies.
  • Minimum of 10-15 years experience in cloud integration (e.g. ERP, SCM, CRM).
  • Excellent MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), MS Visio.
  • Education:

  • Masters Degree in Engineering (Electronic/ Electrical/Civil/Mechanical), Computer Science, Applications, Computer Information Technology.
  • Alternatively will accept Bachelors Degree in Engineering (Electronic/ Electrical/Civil/Mechanical), Computer Science, Applications, Computer Information Technology followed by 5 years of progressive experience.
