This position is based at the corporate office in Morristown. He/she will be tracking and reporting on outage preparation and performance at all Covanta facilities. He/she will also build and maintain the corporate operations schedule and calendar. This person will be in frequent contact with Managers and Vice Presidents across the company, conduct conference calls as well as in person meetings. The position reports to the Corporate Planning Manager.
Provide document and data management required to maintain accuracy and availability of all outage documents including lessons learned and successful solutions to share among facilities. Be proficient in Oracle/ PeopelSoft Asset Life Management (ALM) module of PeopleSoft including entering service requests, work orders, purchase requisitions, and reporting. Develop and run reports detailing Outage performance in the following areas:Financial Schedule Work order progress
Report monthly on outage performance metrics and KPIs Build and Publish Monthly downtime report from QlikView data Analyze and interpret trends through use of the Daily Outage Report and Outage Performance data Assist Corporate Planning Manager (CPM) building and maintaining the Corporate Outage Schedule Assist the CPM with the preparation efforts of the annual Major Maintenance Meetings (June Meetings) Bolster outage communications and become owner of the Outage Planning and Outage Schedule websites Schedule and participate in the Outage Date Change Request Calls Interface with Strategic Sourcing and support their efforts as needed Support the roll-out of the ALOE System Support overall outage performance improvement efforts as directed by the CPM
Candidate must be proficient in the use of Microsoft Office Suite (especially Projects and Excel), Computerized Maintenance Management systems, Corporate Financial Systems (PeopleSoft preferred) and reporting tools such as Qlikview and Longview. Must have good communications skills, both written and verbal. This is not a comprehensive list and duties may change. Travel to participate and support meetings at facilities when required. As needed, support facilities who need help in the areas of outage planning. This includes, but not limited to, the building and preparation of outage scopes of work, schedule, work orders and bid packages. When availability allows, this person will assist facilities with their planning and execution of both outage and non-outage related projects.
