Job Description Nutrition company located in New Jersey is looking for a Trade Marketing & Sales Planning Manager. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: Primary Accountabilities: Leads, develops, and communicates PlantFusion business planning process and plans, including new item launches, sales fundamentals (assortment, merchandising, pricing, and shelving), best in class examples, business initiatives, merchandising tools, key insights integration) working with both cross functional partners and field teams Provides input into integrated customer plans and appropriately advocates for customer plans internally Builds capability to drive growth and eliminate waste by appropriately using tools, processes, and resources to support the organization. Manages the HQ trade budget, including the execution and maintenance of a metrics dashboard to track trade performance and facilitate ongoing analysis of promotions. Ability to assist in preparation and/or participate in sales calls with key retailers Analyzes point of sale data to develop strategies to defend against competitive entries and to consult with Marketing and Sales colleagues SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS: Minimum Requirements: 3-5 years of Trade Marketing, Sales or Business Analytics with a CPG organization Business Degree in Marketing (or equivalent) Experience with retail merchandising and planogram best practices Exceptional organizational skills as well as the ability to multitask among a multitude of projects and responsibilities KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES: Leadership and Influence People Development Problem Solving Skills Strong Analytical and Technical Skills Retailer Experience Interpersonal & Negotiation Skills Written and Verbal Communication Skills Cross Functional Leadership Adaptation and Flexibility Motivation and Commitment Enterprise Mindset
