The Testing Group Manager is accountable for management of complex/critical/large professional disciplinary areas. Leads and directs a team of professionals. Requires a comprehensive understanding of multiple areas within a function and how they interact in order to achieve the objectives of the function. Applies in-depth understanding of the business impact of technical contributions. Strong commercial awareness is a necessity. Generally accountable for delivery of a full range of services to one or more businesses/ geographic regions. Excellent communication skills required in order to negotiate internally, often at a senior level. Some external communication may be necessary. Accountable for the end results of an area. Exercises control over resources, policy formulation and planning. Primarily affects a sub-function. Involved in short- to medium-term planning of actions and resources for own area. Full management responsibility of a team or multiple teams, including management of people, budget and planning, to include performance evaluation, compensation, hiring, disciplinary actions and terminations and budget approval.
Leads initiatives related to User Acceptance Testing (UAT) process and product rollout into production. Testing specialists who work with technology project managers, UAT professionals and users to design and implement appropriate scripts/plans for an application testing strategy/approach.
Manages multiple testing teams or a testing functional area (depending on size of business).
Resolves complex and variable issues with substantial potential impact.
Collaborates with other testing areas, development teams, IT project managers, business partners and external vendors suppliers.
Develops testing standards and ensures compliance.
Creates detailed plans for managing cross testing team dependencies.
Exhibits in-depth understanding of concepts and procedures within own area and basic knowledge of these elements in other areas.
Requires in-depth understanding of how IT testing integrates within overall technology and has commercial awareness.
Evaluates subordinates' performance and makes decisions on pay increases, promotions, terminations, etc.

Impacts IT testing through planning, finances budget, end results and setting policies.

10+ years experience within a testing environment.
Senior to advanced level experience in an IT Testing role with commensurate experience in people management.
In-depth understanding of Systems Development Life Cycle processes.
Thorough understanding of end to end testing processes, Quality Center and other testing related tools
Consistently demonstrates clear and concise written and verbal communication skills
Excellent persuasive, influencing and negotiation skills.

Payment Transformation is the top TTS initiative for TTS business, where all payments and Receivables application flows globally will be re-engineered with the latest technology. These are complex initiatives which involve 100+ applications end to end and are critical with every country roll out. This role is part of the TTS Payment and receivables Transformation Team and is responsible for driving the Quality Assurance of the Transformation program as part of centralized Citi Quality Engineering team.
Running the quality and testing services to execute our key transformation initiatives to support our Transformation Program end to end.
Lead and directly manage a team of QA professionals in the execution of robust quality assurance measurement programs. Additional duties as follows:
Develop a Treasury Quality Assurance Management strategy, framework, tools and implementation plan for daily quality assurance of Transformation Programs.
Single Point of contact to ensure that ALL global Programs are on track as planned. Key person for Planning, Execution and delivery End to End, facing the senior management for risks/Escalations when plans fall thru the cracks. Strategist who can bring the status from Red to Green.
Build and manage a high performing team of QA Analysts with the required leadership, influence and analytical skills (hire, train, manage, oversee, etc.)
Plan, manage and oversee the design and implementation of quality assurance measurement programs tailored to identify daily reporting issues and associated controls. Develop metrics i.e. heat maps, dashboards, Senior Management packages, monitoring, etc.
Develop and implement sampling methodology used to determine reporting and related control processes that will be subject to the quality control reviews.
Develop and implement testing criteria and reporting. Testing will be conducted on a continuous basis and will be highly controlled with required monthly and quarterly testing results reporting. Reporting will be provided to senior members of Treasury, Internal Audit, and Operations Risk Management.
Escalate failed controls and ensure root cause analysis' are performed timely.
Evaluate exposure of control deficiencies and ensure effective and timely control remediation plans are established (i.e. Corrective Action Plans, etc.)
Prepare clear, concise and accurate documentation, reports of work performed and other written materials; read, interpret, explain and apply critical thinking.
Engage with senior management to report, escalate issues and review/present exceptions on a monthly basis to the Account Services Senior management & Quality Assurance head and other senior stakeholders.
Ensure departmental processes and procedures are implemented and kept current.
Ensure sufficient time zone coverage across globally to facilitate ongoing interaction between the quality control, Dev and production teams
To Qualify For This Position, You Must Be a Senior Individual With a Proven Track Record of Global Test Management of complex End to end applications And Have Experience Within The Financial Services Industry And The Following
The successful candidate will utilize an extensive, multi-disciplinary knowledge of quality assurance and control concepts to implement a comprehensive Treasury quality assurance program.
